With the versatile Medisana 3-in-1 therapy device, you treat pain in three different ways. You can choose between TENS or EMS treatment and traditional massage. You will get effective help for migraines, muscle stiffness and inflammations, for example. The device is preset with 22 programs and their duration can be adjusted from 5 to 90 minutes. Up to 40 levels of effectiveness are available for treatment effectiveness.

TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) treatment is the electrical stimulation of the nerve pathways. The TENS device can be used to relieve various pain conditions by applying electrical stimuli to the pain points via electrode pads. This improves blood circulation, raises the pain threshold and prevents the pain signal from being transmitted to the brain. TENS treatment is a drug-free pain relief. The form of treatment can be used, for example, to treat migraines, alleviate labor pains, and other pain conditions in some parts of the body.

TENS treatments are programmed for 10 body parts: neck, shoulders, arms, hands, back, abdomen, hips, legs and feet, and joints in the knee, wrist and ankle.

In EMS treatment, electrical signals are given through electrode pads, but to the musculature. This results in cyclical muscle contraction and relaxation. The treatment promotes muscle relaxation, healing inflammation, strengthens the musculature and increases blood circulation. EMS treatments are programmed for 9 body parts: neck, shoulders, arms, hand, back, abdomen, hips, legs and feet.
