Donation World Vision Finland, Donate a forest hectare

At the core of Finland's World Vision climate work is the forest management method (FMNR). With donor funds, we train farmers in World Vision's forest management method, which promotes sustainable forest growth and soil health. Reforestation sequesters carbon, prevents erosion, and reduces the risk of extreme weather events. This improves livestock nutrition and milk production, enhancing children's nutrition and providing income for families. Additionally, crop yields can even double, strengthening family livelihoods. For example, with €720, 20 hectares of forest can be cultivated.

Duration and area of enforcement: The permit is valid indefinitely from 1.1.2022 in all of Finland, excluding Åland.
