Aalto vase 220mm white Iittala EPR28 [EPR31]

Alvar Aalto combined clear modern design and artisanal expertise to create classic interior items that combine functionality with sculptural form. The influence of Finnish nature can be seen in the asymmetrical wave shape created by Alvar Aalto, with which Aalto won the design competition related to the 1937 Paris World's Fair. It has become one of the timeless classics of modern Nordic design. Each Aalto vase is manufactured individually at the Iittala glass factory in a multi-stage manufacturing process. The glass vase starts by mouth blowing, after which it is cut off from the glass mass by hand and sanded to its final shape. Long-stemmed flowers come into their own in a tall vase. A vase made of white glass is a multifunctional and sculptural element of décor. Dimension 220 mm. Hand wash only.
