Designer Oiva Toikka wanted to hide the seams left in pressed glass. As a result of his design experiments, a new droplet-based surface texture was created, giving the Kastehelmi series its unique appearance. The rows of glass beads on the surface sparkle like morning dew, beautifully reflecting light. The beloved Iittala Kastehelmi collection includes practical, functional, and decorative glassware in various sizes.
