Everything Backpack S Unikko Backpack, Marimekko

The small-sized Everything Backpack S is made from recycled polyester featuring a jacquard-woven Unikko pattern. The backpack has a drawstring closure, a flap with a magnetic snap, and two front pockets with magnetic buttons. The adjustable shoulder straps are made from recycled polyamide and feature a jacquard-woven Unikko pattern. A Marimekko keyring is attached to one side. There is an open pocket on the back. The backpack includes details made from recycled leather.

Unikko, which symbolizes creativity and courage, was created at a time when flowers were not commonly part of Marimekko’s design world. However, Maija Isola was inspired by floral themes and decided to design an entire series of bold, new flower patterns.
