FireCylinder is made of corten steel, which is a high-quality and exceptionally weather-resistant material. Therefore, the FireCylinder can be outdoors all year round. The steel is treated in a way that causes natural oxidation of the surface. The resulting dense layer of rust prevents the steel from oxidizing deeper than the surface. The surface of Corten steel becomes patinated over time, especially due to high operating temperatures and exposure to various weather conditions. Therefore, the color and surface patterns of the outdoor fireplace may change significantly over time. The rust layer on the surface is very durable and does not stain like rust usually. However, small stains and run-off may occur. The coating can withstand temperatures of 800 ° C.

The FireCylinder should not be used in an environment with flammable materials (eg a wooden terrace). Strong winds catching flames may release sparks into the environment, causing a fire hazard. Before cleaning or removing ash, make sure that the outdoor fireplace and ash have cooled down properly. The ash should be allowed to cool in a non-combustible container for at least 1-2 days before placing in the waste container to prevent the garbage bag from catching fire. The cooled ash can also be used as fertilizer in the garden.
