Kastehelmi Vase clear 154 mm Iittala EPR30

Designer Oiva Toikka wanted to conceal the seams left on pressed glass, and therefore created a new surface structure based on droplet decoration, giving Kastehelmi glassware its distinctive appearance. The shimmering rows of glass beads on the surface of the Kastehelmi collection resemble dewdrops glistening in the morning sun. The glass droplets reflect light beautifully across the surface of these versatile glass items.
